Wallhöfe

The area between Neanderstraße, Neuem Steinweg, Hütten and Peterstraße will be completely restructured after the demolition of the existing mixed use. The urban planning guiding idea is based on the parameters: urban block, square and street. On this basis, living spaces for the highest demands are created. Living and working are linked in an urban sense and benefit from each other. The design strengthens the surrounding urban spaces, in particular it supports the restoration of the urban block structure. By closing the outer edges, especially between East-West Street and cottages, the block perimeter protects the residential areas inside from noise. Internal paths run through the block as access to the houses. They support the neighborhood concept and strengthen the individual living and working quality in the individual houses.
